Why here

Fusion Korean in a Seongsu basement: flame-grilled jokbal over noodles, aged-kimchi yukhoe maki, jambon cream noodles, a pepperoni-and-cheese take on gamjajeon. The cooking borrows freely from Italian and Japanese menus but keeps Korean cuts at the centre. Queues here are long and constant.

Can I order at Daylit without Korean?

We haven't confirmed whether Daylit keeps an English menu — most neighbourhood spots in Seoul don't. This page lists what to order in English, and the restaurant's Korean name is printed on it, so you can show the name at the door and order by pointing at the counter. Cards are accepted almost everywhere, and there is no tipping.
